Mom’s Bow Tie Pasta.
Perfect pasta! Grated parm on top and Italian bread with butter.
Directions:
Add oil to a heavy pan. Cook sausage (and pepper flakes if using) until no longer pink.
Add onion and garlic - simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Add tomatoes, basil, cream and salt. Simmer while pasta is cooking (1 lb. box of bow tie pasta).
Drain pasta and add to sauce.

2 Tbsp olive oil
1 lb. sweet Italian sausage (casing removed and crumbled)
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Pinch fresh basil
1/2 cup diced onion
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp salt
1 (28 oz) can plum tomatoes, chopped
12 oz. Bow Tie Pasta
