Aunt Jan’s Butter Cookies.
Fun to decorate and make in holiday shapes.
Makes about 30 cookies - can be doubled.
Directions:
Mix by hand
Roll to 1/4 inch thick and cut as desired.
Lightly top with egg whites and nuts if desired.
Bake at 400F for 8-10 minutes.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
pinch of salt
pinch of baking soda
1/2 cup conf. sugar
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
2 tbsp. corn starch
