Grandma’s Butter Cookies.
Fun to decorate and make in holiday shapes. Also delicious sprinkled with nuts!
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar.
Add slightly beaten eggs.
Add brandy.
Mix baking soda and flour.
Combine all, mix by hand.
Chill for several hours
Roll, cut and brush egg whites - sprinkle with sugar or nuts.
Bake at 350F for 10-15 minutes.
Ingredients:
1 lb. butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, separated
6 cup flour
1/2 tsp brandy
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup chopped almonds or walnuts for topping
